FULL TIME: Monday-Saturday with one day off during the week. Being able to work Saturday is a requirement for this job. Some Sundays will be required.

HOURS: Hours will vary between 7:30am-6:30pm Mon-Fri. Saturday 7:30 am-1:30pm.

EXPERIENCE: Computers, phones and customer service experience is necessary. Veterinary experience is helpful but is not necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Follow the All Creatures Pet Hospital policies and standards

  • Maintain a positive attitude and a pleasant working environment

  • Assist with morning and evening kennel procedures by rotating, feeding, and cleaning animals and kennels.

  • Checking clients in and out of the hospital.

  • Educating clients on health recommendations and working closely with the doctor on individualized patient care.

  • Maintaining complete medical records by entering physical exam findings into patient files.

  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments.

  • General cleaning duties such as dishes, moping, and sanitizing hospital.

  • Assist Doctor in exam room during physical exams and with surgical procedures.

  • Set up and read laboratory samples as needed for patients. Have results ready for doctor to review.

  • Aid in restraint if necessary and take physical exam notes.

  • Assist in capturing digital radiographs.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $10.00 to $11.00 /hour

Experience:

  • Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Customer Service: 1 year (Required)

  • receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
