Molly

Molly is a 5 year old, spayed, female, domestic short-hair, tabby, who is adoptable for free to a good and loving home.  Please contact our front desk for more information about adopting sweet, Molly.

Sabrina

Sabrina is a very sweet spayed female cat.  She is FELV/FIV negative and is current on vaccinations.  She is rather intolerant of other cats and dogs so, she would do best as an only pet in a mature or no children.  If you feel Sabrina would be a fit for your home, please contact the front desk for more information.

 Reese

Reese is a Jack Russell Terrier that was rescued from the Springfield dog pound after being picked up by animal control and not claimed by her owner. She is a shy but sweet girl, with lots of energy once she gets to know you. She is very loving and sits up like a person in your arms. She has been spayed and is current on rabies, dhl4pp, and bordetella vaccines. She has had a routine blood screen and heartworm test and has been started on a monthly heartworm prevention and has been dewormed. She seems to be pretty well housebroken. Reese needs to find a home where she will be the only dog. I’m not sure how she would blend with cats or with small children. She needs a secure yard to run and play in and someone with a calm and quiet nature to love her. There will be an adoption fee to help cover the expenses I have incurred so far and she will only go to an approved home. If you think you would like to be Reese’s forever family, please contact Linda here at All Creatures Pet Hospital or leave a message at 417-425-1963

Tips for Lost/Found Pets
·         Walk your neighborhood or area pet was last seen and bring a familiar toy or treat along with a photo of pet. Be prepared to leave your phone number and brief description of pet with neighbors, postmen, etc. Getting neighborhood kids involved can help too!
·         Try looking on the websites listed below
Ø www.springfield.craigslist.org >under community heading, lost & found
Ø www.springfieldmo.gov/health/dogDisclaimer.htm scroll to bottom of page to “Dog Photos” and “Cat Photos” links. Animal Control 417-833-3592 for hours to go in person to 4002 N. Farmer.
Ø www.swh.org SWMO Humane Society, limited listing of dogs up for adoption as most of their dogs are listed on petfinder. Recommending going to look in person- 3161 W. Norton Road, 417-833-2526 for hours.

·         Gather pictures and make fliers, post on the above sites with a photo you of pet, area and date lost, breed, sex, age, weight and don’t forget to list contact info.

·         Also try calling other pet stores, veterinarians and animal rescues. Most places will allow you to post a flier or accept faxes of fliers to post.

·         Post as many fliers as possible within a 1 mile radius of area pet was last seen with a color photo included if possible.
·         You can also place a “Lost Pet” ad in the classified section of the local paper. Offering a reward can sometimes help.
