Meatball

Meatball is our clinic cat that came to live at All Creatures by accident.  Meatball was dropped off at the clinic by his previous owners for euthanasia because of "health issues" and "aggression."  When we opened the cardboard box that he came in out popped a sweet but sassy orange head attachec to a very overweight body!  In addition to weighing in at over 23 pounds Meatball suffered from flea allergies and mild dental disease.  We decided that those were not good enough reason to put him to sleep and obtained permission from the previous owners to fix him up and find him a home.

Over a year later Meatball is still with us!  He is flea-free thanks to Revolution and a healthy 14 pounds thanks to Hill's Prescription Diet r/d.  Meatball stayed with us long enough that everyone got attached to him and we just couldn't bear to part with him.  Today Meatball's main duties include making sure he gets fed on time,  ensuring that he receives his daily allotment of petting, and cheering up anyone who is having a bad day.  When he is not fulfilling the above duties he managed to find time to save the life of a young kitten who needed a blood transfusion.
